How to successfully communicate with athletes

Part of being a great coach, mentor or teacher is knowing how to effectively communicate with your team or athlete.

It may sometimes mean adjusting communication styles when speaking with the team to make sure the message has hit home – or reviewing what has been learnt after practice or a game.
