One way in which you can reduce tension within your muscles is with progressive muscle relaxation. This is a relaxation technique where you will be slowly working through major muscle groups tensing and relaxing each muscle. Tensing and relaxing muscles can help you to feel physically relaxed which can in turn help you to feel mentally relaxed.
In this training plan you will have access to audio files and a PDF to help you engage in progressive muscle relaxation. We have provided 3 audio files with different audio sound backgrounds (rainforest, soothing music, ocean) so you can choose the best one which works for you.
