Debriefing is used to facilitate learning, aide psychological recovery and reduce negative emotions. If used properly it can also increase positive mood states and performance. This training plan has been designed specifically for coaches and teachers who want to learn how to effectively debrief with their teams or staff. It explores the key skills that both athlete and coach need in place to debrief and provides simple steps on how to conduct a successful debrief. As well as this the training plan explores the topic of reflection and looks at ways in which coaches or teachers can apply some self practice/reflection to their own performance.
