This is a basic course which has been designed for athletes and coaches. The course focuses primarily on understanding how self talk influences performance. This applied course helps athletes to understand how their mind can influence their behaviour and emotions. It allows athletes to understand the different types of thoughts they experience and can help them to challenge unhelpful beliefs.
For coaches the course can help you to understand how your players use their self talk in a helpful or unhelpful way. The course is over 2.5 hours long and is presented via audio and powerpoint. There are also small tasks (PDF documents) which you can work through which will help you to develop helpful beliefs.
