Summary

Every day we encounter new experiences and challenges. These challenges can bring with them a certain degree of stress, pressure, worry and anxiety. Sometimes we can be prepared for them and other times they can happen without warning. How we respond to these events can have a big impact on our physical and mental health.

Within this online course we will help you to develop a better understanding of what resilient people do on a regular basis and the attitude they adopt towards stress, growth, practise and development. We will support you to learn what happens to your body during times of stress and anxiety and different techniques to calm your mind and body. We will look at how you can develop important coping skills which contribute to resilience such as your thinking style and the way you view positive and negative experiences. Finally we will help you to get ready to be more resilient both mentally and physically and how you can develop your own resilience recipe.
