  1. Checking in on each other – schedule a regular slot each week where you can check in with each other and see how you are feeling.
  2. Mindfulness – utilise the great mindfulness apps or videos online and see how good you can become on staying focused on the present moment.
  3. Helping others – with your teammates think about how you can support others. Helping others can provide you with positive emotions.
  4. Breathing – learn some breathing techniques together such as deep breathing or progressive muscle relaxation. Practice them together once a week.
  5. Gratitude diary – engage in a gratitude diary and write down things you are grateful for.
  6. Strength diary – each night before bed write down 3 good things you have achieved from your day. Share these with your teammates.
  7. Setting goals – work on setting some goals that are important and meaningful to you. Share these with teammates and think about the processes that will help you achieve them.
  8. Coping timeline – work with a teammate and identify times in the past that you have coped well with stress.
  9. Identify the helpful behaviours that helped you cope and start thinking about how you can use them over the coming weeks.
  10. Planning your week – plan your week together and make sure your teammate is scheduling activities that provide them with a sense of achievement and keep them connected to friends and family
